2021-Present: Secretary of Rock River Artist’s Studio Tour
Take, transcribe and distribute meeting minutes. Assist in coordination of scheduling meetings, keeping dialogue open among members and keeping social media presence part of the year.
2008 and 2009: Assisted in Formation and Coordination of The Newfane Art Show Newfane, VT
Helped choose and secure new judges each year. Corresponded with artists throughout the application process, including receiving images and then forwarding to judge. Set up racks in venue. Inventoried incoming art for show. Assisted in hanging art and placing sculpture in venue. Took payment for pieces sold. Returned remaining inventoried art to artists at end of show. Communicated with participating artists for the next years show applications.
2003-2009: Secretary for the Newfane Business Association
Recorded and read meeting minutes each month. Sent out meeting meeting reminders monthly. Corresponded with the larger membership regarding renewing dues and coordination of fundraising and community events. Involved in all events as a volunteer.
